Saharawi students in Algeria’s east commemorate 35 th anniversary of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic
Batna (Algeria) – Arab Maghreb independent press service – The Saharawi students in the universities of Algerian east are celebrating since Wednesday the 35th anniversary of the SADR Declaration, according to source close to the organizing committee.
The opening day of the celebration, which lasts for three days, witnessed the organization of exhibitions and lectures to publicize the Saharawi cause in the light of the flagrant human rights violations in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
The opening day was marked by the presence of Batna’s officials, the Saharawi Consul to the Algerian east, Algerian and Saharawi students and Saharawi cultural delegation from the Dakhla’s wilaya, refugee camps.
