Moroccan forces abducted 8 Western Sahara citizens after they protested outside MINURSO headquarters


Western Sahara - MAP - The Moroccan forces abducted 8 Western Sahara citizens, who organized a peaceful protest outside the headquarters of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) near the Moroccan military wall that divided the Territory, according to the Collective of the Saharawi Human Rights Defenders.
The Collective said that the Moroccan security forces abducted the group, which included Ali Raitani, Mohamed Lamin Abba Hazem, Hasan Dih, Abd Daiam Mokhtar, Khaled Shakrad, Husein Anshad and Azi Aziz, after they marched from Assa to Mahbas.
Families of the group have informed the Collective they have no information about the fate of their sons, their detention place or charges behind the arrest.
It is note worthy that the group has entered since June 14, 2011 peaceful protests in the city of Assa, south of Morocco, to protest their arbitrary expel from work.
