The 7th edition of the Summer University of the executives of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) kicked off Tuesday in Boumerdes under the chairmanship of Saharawi Minister of Building and Construction of the Saharawi liberated territories, Mohamed Lamine Bouhali.
Some 400 executives, members of the Algerian civil society and international figures working in the field of human rights partake in this meeting.
Sahrawi President Ibrahim Ghali, ambassador of SADR to Algiers Bechraya Hamoudi Bayoun, president of the Summer University and Sahrawi executives participate in this event held at Boumerdes University until 22 August.
Representatives of Algerian political parties and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Algiers also take part in this event.
Besides, this Summer University will be marked by cultural events and conferences on political, legal and socio-economic issues.
Speaking on this occasion, the Sahrawi president stressed that "the military conquest of the Sahrawi territories is part of Kingdom of Morocco's hostile expansionist ideology."
Ghali called on the UN Security Council to take genuine and urgent measures to put an end to such actions that threaten peace and stability.
