Kenya reiterates support to Sahrawi people's right to self-determination, independence

ADDIS ABABA-Kenya's Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed reiterated its support to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and their right of the Sahrawi people to freedom and independence, reported Thursday the Sahrawi press agency (SPS).
Speaking at a diner held at Radisson hotel in Addis Ababa, Amina Mohamed stressed that Kenya's support to SADR is in line with its history and its commitment to the principles of the African Union (AU), recalling that SADR is one of the founders and members of the AU.
Kenya's FM seized this opportunity to pay tribute to "martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz," calling him one of the African figures and leaders that left an eternal legacy to generations.
In this regard, she hailed bilateral relations between Kenya and SADR.
A Sahrawi delegation led by Deputy Minister at the Foreign Ministry for African Affairs Hamdi Khalil Mayara took part in this ceremony.
