Recommendations of first intellectual conference of World Association of Muslim Thinkers and Advocates to support Saharawi people
Smara (Saharawi refugee camps in Tindouf) - Arab Maghreb independent press service - The World Association of Muslim Thinkers and Advocates to support the Saharawi people has concluded its first intellectual conference by a group of recommendations and letters:
- call on Saharawi education ministry for more carefulness to teach Islamic and Saharawi history in schools.
- send a message signed by the Saharawi advocate, Mr. Sidi Salem Bahaha, to Dr. Ragheb Sergani calling him to show the real Islamic values and stop distortion history, because it is a "crime against history and flagrant malpractice especially when targeting Arab-Muslim people in Western Sahara"
- expressing solidarity with the Egyptian revolution and choices of the Arab peoples in the peaceful demanding of their rights, including the brotherly people of Morocco.
- a message to our brothers in the occupied territories of Western Sahara praising them for continuing resistance, because it is a "stable way for future of stability"
- a message to all the Saharawi prisoners of conscience, praying for them to be patient and continuity until all Saharawis decide their fate.
- applauding efforts of local services and institutions for succeeding the next maturity to commemorate anniversary of the Saharawi Republic's declaration.
- calling for the urgent intervention of the international human rights organizations as well as Moroccan civilian community's organizations to step behind and defend the Saharawi prisoners of conscience for releasing them.
- a message to all the Islamic and Arab personnels, calling them to support and help the Saharawi people in its legitimate struggle against the Moroccan occupation.
It worth noting that the conference, which held in the period February 02 to 03 in the Saharawi refugee camp of Smara, has focused on "education in Western Sahara reality and prospects"
