The Head of State reiterates SADR commitment to the application of African Free Trade Area Treaty

The President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, affirmed in Kigali, the SADR's willingness to work together with the rest of members of the African Union, to apply the Treaty of the African Free Trade Area and the Protocol of Kigali, on the promotion of economic integration within the continent.

The head of the State, said in his speech to the Summit, that both the Treaty and the technical protocols reflect the will of the leaders and peoples of Africa, to fulfill the objectives of the 2063 Agenda, as well as to put an end to conflicts and all kinds of colonialism on the continent.

In this regard, Brahim Gali thanked the community institutions for the preparation of the treaties, as well as the president of Rwanda, Paul Cagame, for hosting this important extraordinary summit, which will lead to a new level of integration within the African bloc.

It should be recalled that the SADR, signed Wednesday, the three treaties presented to the Kigali Summit: the Treaty of the African Free Trade Area; the Kigali Protocol; and the Treaty of Free Circulation of Persons.
