Secretary General of United Nations urges Egypt to yield to public demands


Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) - The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, has called, during a news conference in the sidelines of 16th Summit of the African Union, for peace and restraint in Egypt and the rest of North Africa, reported Afrique en lingue.

He expressed the hope that democracy, freedom of speech and respect for human rights would prevail.

“They need to listen closely to one another, deliver on the people’s aspiration for better conditions of living,” UN Chief stressed
