Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic takes part on World Social Forum in Dakar
Dakar - Arab Maghreb independent press service – the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic participates on the eleventh edition of the World Social Forum held between February 06 to 11 in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, under the theme "another world is possible", Sahara Press Service reported Sunday.
The delegation, which is presided by the Secretary General of the Saharawi Workers Union, Mr. Mohamed Sheikh Mohamed Lahbib, comprising the Counselor to the SADR Presidency, Mr. Bashir Sgeir, a group of Saharawi human rights activists from the occupied Western Sahara and a number of Saharawi cadres.
According to the organizing committee, the event marked by more than 20000 participants.
This is the second that Africa hosts the event after being held in Nairubi 2007
