Western Sahara’s human rights defender sentenced to four-year prison in force

Casablanca (Morocco) - Arab Maghreb independent press service - The Moroccan court of Casablanca has sentenced the Western Saharan human rights defender, Haddi Ahmed Mahmud Keinan, to four-year prison in force after several delays.

The Saharawi human rights activist was arrested on October 18 th, 2009 on the ground of his demands to enable the Western Sahara’s people to exercise its right of self-determination and independence
