Cairo (Egypt) - AMIPS - Thousands of protesters flocked Friday to the Tahrir Square, centre of cairo, to demand prosecution for former President Hosni Mubarak.
Protesters called Friday on authorities to prosecute Mubarak in what was estimated to be the largest gathering since the president resigned, Egyptian newspaper Al-Masry reported
Several officials from the Mubarak era are on trial in Egypt following the February revolution. The country's interior ministry is facing charges he ordered snipers to fire on unarmed demonstrators at the height of the unrest.
