Families of Westen Sahara political detainees deamand release of their sons
El Aaiun (Western Sahara's occupied territories) June 11, 2011 - MAP - Families of Western Sahara's political detainees organized Friday a peaceful protest outside the so-called Moroccan Court of Appeal in the occupied city of El Aaiun to demand the release of their sons, Western Sahara pressagency reported.
The demonstrators called for the unconditional release of all the Saharawi political prisoners and open a fair and independent investigation into cases of torture targeted their sons by the Moroccan intelligence during their imprisonment.
The peaceful protest was surrounded by the Moroccan police and auxiliary forces to harass the demonstrators, the source added.
