Polisario calls for UN intervene to prevent any inclusion of Western Sahara issue among referendum on Moroccan constitution

Saharawi Refugee Camps -MAP- The Polisario Front Wednesday called on the United Nations to intervene urgently for preventing any involvement of Western Sahara in a referendum on the Moroccan constitution, considering that document as internal issue of Moroccan Kingdom“does not concern Saharawi people”.

“ National Secretariat of Polisario Front condemns in the Moroccan policy which aims to include Western Sahara occupied territories among referendum process on Morocco's new constitution. we considering this step as violation to international borders,” said a final statement of NS of the Polisario published by the Western Sahara news agency SPS

The meeting also focused on repot submitted by the Saharawi delegation participated in the seventh round of negotiations between the Polisario Front and Morocco held on June 5, 6, and 7 in Manhasset, New York.
