South Africa reiterates support for right of Western Sahara people for freedom and independence

Auserd (Saharawi refugee camps) - MAP - The Director of the North African Department in the South African Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Zanele Mbeki, reiterated Wednesday the support of her country to the just struggle of the people of Western Sahara for freedom and independence, in a statement during a visit to the wilaya of Auserd, Saharawi refugee camps.

“We are here to renew my country’s support to the legitimate and just struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence,” Ms. Mbeki asserted, expressing commitment to stand beside the Saharawi people to achieve independence.

She emphasized the intention of South Africa to develop the bilateral relations between the countries, South Africa and Saharawi Republic, and their two brotherly people.
