Syrian opponents form National Council against Assad regime

Syria - MAP - Group of Syrian Opponents formed Sunday a National Council against the Assad regime in Damascus.
"We announce the creation of a National Council to lead the Syrian revolution, consisting of all communities, and representatives of national political forces inside and outside Syria," the group told the press.
The spokesman of this group, Jamil Sahib, said that the new Council is comprised of known opponents, including Abdallah Trad el Moulahim, Mamoun al-Homsi, Sheikh Khaled al-Khalaf, Haitham al-Maleh, Souhair al-Atassi and Aref Dalila.
