European Youth Caravan to hold Wednesday a sit-in outside the European Parliament to protest EU illegal fishing from Western Sahara

 Berlin - MAP - The "European Youth Caravan for Western Sahara" will hold Wednesday, a sit-in outside the headquarters of the European Parliament in Strasbourg to denounce violations of human rights committed by the Morocco in Western Sahara and to protest against the signing of the agreement between the EU and Morocco including the Saharawi territorial waters, according to the organizers of the caravan.
The organizers of the caravan will meet members of the European Parliament Intergroup on Western Sahara, have appealed to the solidarity networks for Western Sahara in France to join the Khaima (tent) they rise up before the European Parliament on this occasion.
The caravan will travel to several European countries as part of a wider campaign in favor of the Western Sahara issue and to create a European youth network supporting the Saharawi cause, said the organizers.
The representative of the Union of Sahrawi students (UESARIO), Lahbib Mohamed Abdelaziz, who is in the caravan, had informed from Vienna, the Europeans youth about the human rights situation in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and the youth in refugee camps.
