Summer University of Polisario Front wraps up, Sahrawi executives' activism highlighted

The works of the 7th edition of the Summer University of executives of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) wrapped up Monday. This event highlighted Sahrawi executives' activism and strong commitment to their cause.

President of the 7th Summer University of the Polisario Front Lamine Bouhali highlighted the success of this edition, which lasted two weeks in Boumerdes, stating that "participants' activism" reflects "the commitment of executives of the SADR" to the Sahrawi cause.

For the Sahrawi executive, this edition, held under the theme "the independent Sahrawi State is the solution," owes its success to a "strong support" from Algeria's highest authorities and local ones in Boumerdes.

He hailed "Algeria's efficient and historical role for the Sahrawi cause."

The closing ceremony was marked by the presentation of a portrait relating the career of deceased Sahrawi President Mohamed Abdelaziz as an activist and his role in all steps of the process of the Sahrawi people's struggle for independence.

A tribute was paid to several figures (teachers, academicians, and activists of the Algerian and Saharawi civil societies), who contributed to the success of the Summer University, in addition to the province of Boumerdes local authorities.

400 Sahrawi executives, representatives the Algerian civil society and international figures partook in the 7th edition of the Summer University.
