UK to Trains & Arms What Called “Syrian Moderate Rebels” in Saudi Arabia

British troops are being sent to Saudi Arabia to begin training Syrian rebels, as the UK widens its efforts to combat Islamic State extremists.

UK is planning to train a new set of Syrian rebel fighters inside four countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Jordan.

According to Telegraph, British military advisors will be sent to these countries in order to train syrian rebels combatants for a future war against the Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh).

While the British made no mention about the Syrian government of President Bashar Al-Assad; it is assumed that these rebel fighters will oppose the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies.

In addition to the British troops, US military advisors will be present at the training grounds, as they teach basic infantry skills to the potential rebel candidates.

The Telegraph added that as many as 85 British soldiers will train the "moderate rebel" recruits; however, the total number of opposition personnel participating in this training is still unknown.
