Polisario Front renews its rejection of any approach that does not respect the legal framework of the conflict in Western Sahara

The Permanent Office of the National Secretariat renewed today, the rejection of the Polisario Front of any approach that does not respect the legal framework of the conflict in Western Sahara.

In a statement issued after the meeting of the Permanent Office chaired by the President of the Republic, the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, the Polisario Front renewed the principled position rejecting any approach that does not respect the clear legal framework of the Western Sahara conflict, as an issue of decolonization, resolved with full respect for the right of the Sahrawi people, which is inalienable in self-determination and independence.

On this occasion, the Permanent Office renewed its call on the United Nations to assume its responsibilities in expediting to providing the necessary conditions to enable the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara, MINURSO, to carry out the mission assigned to it by the UN Security Council, within the framework of the 1991 UN-African Settlement Plan.

SPS
