Libya: thousands of civilians cross borders into Tunisia after deadly attacks by Gaddafi’s armed planes
Libya – Arab Maghreb independent press service - The Red Crescent humanitarian relief organization has warned of a possible refugee crisis as 5,600 Libyan civilians have crossed the border into Tunisia after Muammar Gaddafi's armed planes and helicopters fired on the protesters.
A Red Crescent representative Gerard Lautredou told BBC that the numbers of refugees could rise in coming hours “to receive 10,000 people a day along the border with Libya”
