Western Sahara and Paraguay strengthen their bilateral relations

Asunción (Paraguay) - MAP - The government of Western Sahara Republic (SADR) and government of Paraguay signed Thursday in the capital of Paraguay, Asuncion, a joint communiqué expressing their readiness to ¨ strengthen and developing bilateral relations on bases of mutual respect and defend principles and goals of the United Nations especially the rights of Peoples to self-determination and save international peace¨
The communiqué signed by the Paraguayan Foreign Minister, rJorge Lara Castro and the Saharawi Minister delegate in charge for Latin America, Hach Ahmed Bericalla, confirmed that the¨ two countries convinced that the development of diplomatic relations will contribute in international peace and security¨
The two countries expressed their confidence that the ¨efforts of the UN through its special envoy to Western sahara, Christopher Ross will lead to a fair, mutually acceptable and lasting solution, guarantees the right of the Saharawi people to self- determination according to charter and principles of the United Nations¨
