Call for UN commission to investigate serious situation in Western Sahara

 
Sahrawi refugee camps (MAP NEWS) - Sahrawi union of defense of human rights called Tuesday for “sending, in emergency, a UN commission to investigate on the gross violations” committed by the Moroccan regime against the Sahrawi people, during the visit of the UN General Secretary Personal Envoy for Western Sahara Christopher Ross to occupied Western Sahara’s capital Al-Aiun.

In a memorandum submitted to Mr. Christopher Ross, the Union which include hundreds of members in the Sahrawi refugee camps in the occupied territories, and in exile, called on "the Moroccan regime to cease its aggression and flagrant violations of humanitarian rights perpetrated against the Saharawi population, release of Saharawi political prisoners and reveal the fate of missing persons and abducted.”
