IUSY Congress opens with participation of Sahrawi delegation

(SPS) - The 33rd Congress of International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) opened on Friday in Becici, Montenegro, with the participation of a Saharawi delegation representing the Youth Union (UJSARIO) and the Students Union (UESARIO), alongside a large number of delegations from different countries of the world.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Socialist Party of Montenegro, Milo Dukanovic, who hailed in his speech the work of socialist youth around the world.

The Congress will continue on Saturday with the endorsement of the recommendations, and the election of a new leadership for the organization. It is expected to approve a recommendation on the Sahrawi issue.
