President of Republic expresses condolences to Russian counterpart over airliner crash

President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, expressed his warm condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin following the crash of a Russian airliner on Sunday that killed 71 passengers.

The President of the Republic, on behalf of the Government of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and on his own behalf, expressed his solidarity with the Government and the people of the Russian Federation and his sympathy with the families of the victims at these difficult moments.

The Russian Interfax news agency reported on Sunday that the Saratov Airlines plane crashed near Moscow, killing 65 passengers on board and six crew members. (SPS)
